Batch K10851 336/826. Thanks Mike! Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a dark ruddy iced-tea color with red highlights. Very thin short lived white head faded to collar.
S: Cherries, low acid, sweeter fruit juices and light funk and oak.
T: Buttery oak, twinge of acid, vinous red fruits and red berries dominate, buttery finish. Hints of brett are light.
M: Tingly carbonation pops up on my palate, medium body, drinks pretty easily.
O: A less exciting sour but still very drinkable and delicious. Not super complex. Thanks colonelforbin.

Bottle generously shared by colonelforbin. Thanks Mike. Pours a clear copper with a small white head that has decent retention and leaves some light lacing on the glass. The aroma is caramel, a bit of oak, and some light funkiness. The taste has a bit of sweetness with caramel and quite a bit of oak. There is a decent amount of funk and a moderate lactic tartness. There is also a bit of acetic acid. The finish has a bit of astringency and some light oak. Light body. Low carbonation. Not bad, but nothing special. It doesn't have the complexity of the better sour ales.

Looks more like a flanders, has the brown and red appearance, thin, almost nothing in terms of head on it, although the clarity displayed with a beer of this crimsonness is not to be underestimated in its beauty. Aroma, nice cherry tartness, equal mix of the sweet cherry pie descriptor, and the cherry tart. Cool.

Taste, pretty good, delivers on both tart, cherry and sour notes, brown malt is appreciable and helpful to the overall experience. A tad gritty at times, maybe its the brettiness sticking to my teeth as its been known to do from time to time. Decent oak. The sourness is relatively restrained compared to some of the others (Supplication, Love Child etc. . .).

I liked it, would purchase again if it was in $20 or less for a 750.
