Poured from a 12oz bottle (Batch 8779) and served in a pint glass. This beer poured a hazy, dark amber with a very thin head of tan bubbles. Some spotty lacing was left around the glass. The aroma included sugary caramel, toffee, peach, and orange zest. The flavor was slightly sweet, and full of tropical fruit, orange juice, peach, and also some earthy pine. The caramel is there, but it doesn't really stand out. A crisp, clean bitterness lingers on the tongue. The mouthfeel was full-bodied with a slight oiliness. Mild carbonation. Nice and hoppy, but not your usual DIPA. The combo of hop flavors is quite unique and really interesting.

Pours a copper color with a white head leaving plenty of lace down the snifter. The aroma is fruity if anything, with notes of citrus, tree fruit, dried assorted fruit, alcohol and pine. In the taste, more grapefruit, other citrus, peach, and pineapple. There are also more earthy and piney elements going on which add a solid bitterness. Alcohol content is noticeable but does not detract from the flavors. Full bodied, well carbonated brew. Overall, this is a Hopsoulution I can endorse. It dials in lots of fruit flavor without actually containing fruit.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.
A - Pours hazy amber orange with a nice one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a small ring around the edge, leaving sticky webs of lace on the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of caramel, toffee, pine needles, earthy hops, dash of fresh fruit and plenty of mildly toasted sweet malt.
T - Starts off with toffee and pine resin quickly being joined by the earthy and fruity hops and finally the sweet caramel malt. Finish is a little sweet with some backing dryness, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Slick, sweet feel with some dryness after each sip.
O - A decent DIPA. I am always interested in trying new to me Bell's beers but I have had better from them.
