Poured fairly aggressively into a standard pint glass. Big, fluffy, off-white head nearly 2" tall develops. Really good retention, copious lace left behind.
Smell is floral, piney and citrus, some malt, rye obviously, grass. Pretty good balance.
Taste is pretty standard pale ale with citrus and piney hops foremost, malt, rye, and a little spice note.
Medium bodied with the effervescence sharp at first before mellowing. Drying throughout but slightly warming as well. Easy to drink, it fits more between a pale and an IPA than I thought at first. Good stuff.

This ale poured from a bottle a nice golden and cloudy colour. There was visible sediment in the bottle that was seen before even pouring into the pint glass. Ale smelled of rye and citrus hops, and tasted of bitter hops and rye. Very strong flavors. Sweet malt notes blended well with the citrus hops, and lingered on in the aftertaste.

Would I buy this beer again? Maybe.
