A: Near black, like a stout. Very thin, tan head. No lace. Looks like the high abv it is.
S: Smells of sweet malt, alcohol, and a hint of roast. Bit of fruit.
T: Whoa, sweet! Big molasses leads and licorice and some dark, roasty malt follow and some fruitiy sweetness. It tastes like a whole bunch of brown sugar, molasses sweetness trying to hide the high alcohol. Very unique. One of a kind. Defies classification, in my opinion. Highly sweet, double brown ale?
M: Syrupy but thin with a sweet aftertaste. Nothing really lingers.
D: Easy to quickly down. The 12.5% is very-well-hidden. You could have two of these before you knew what hit you.
