Pours a dark reddish-brown with a heavy murkiness to the transparency. Head is a couple fingers of desert tan foam. Aroma is raspberry right off the cusp, and with that mild sweetness and tartness - yin & yang. Bready, mild earthy malts sit behind with red wine, oak, and mild grassy hops. Great aroma, which segues into the taste seemlessly. Flavor profile brings forward that same raspberry tart, sweetness, alongside earthy, bready malts, lemon zest, and red wine. It has a firm acidity tone, but it never pushes the line into heart burn territory, just accentuating the tartness in every sip. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a prickly start that breaks away for a smooth, still finish. Overall, tart, sweet, and raspberry forward. It drinks with intrigue from start to finish, and is both engaging enough to be thoughtful, without being overly complex. Just enough sourness to keep it interesting, but not a novelty.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 750mL bottle.

750 ml bottle, packaged 2.11.21, label says 6.6% ABV. Served in a Teku glass, the beer pours a reddish/brown color with not quite an inch off-white/pinkish head that didn't stay around for very long. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like sweet and tart raspberries, oak, earthiness, funk and a hint of citrus. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some jammy dark berries, lime, vanilla and vinegary flavors. Lots of tart berry goodness in this brew! Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was enjoyable, wouldn't mind getting another bottle of this one. $15.99 a bottle.

Faded red pour with a pinkish collar and spotted lacing. Smells of fresh and tart raspberry with oak, light wine, brett and flowers. Taste has more of a tartly juicy raspberry with vinous, oaky, and lightly funky notes on the finish. Hints of lemon juice, burnt earth and pear in the background of it all. Feel is medium-light bodied with a tart and vinous light finish. Perfect for spring

750 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Believe purchased 7/12/16, don’t think that was the bottling date. Had 4/17/19.
Pours a brownish ruby color, a little cloudy, with a one and a half inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of raspberries, some wine, some malt, light plums and cherries, oak, a little funk, light vanilla. Smells lightly tart and sour. Flavors of raspberries, malt, oak, some cherries, a little funk, some vanilla, light wine. Starts out with a good amount of tartness that fades, a little sour throughout, a sweet note midway. Smooth, a solid light to medium body, well carbonated.
The raspberries are terrific, a good level of tartness, and actually a good amount of wood comes through. Well executed and very enjoyable. Would buy this again.

On draft. Darker reddish body without any brown hue to it. Bright raspberry, a bit of brown malt, moderate acetic acidity, touch of lemony zest. Touch of vinous flavour. Palate cleansing, refreshingly dry, medium lighter body, good carbonation. Enjoyed this one a fair bit. This one should be bottled in six packs, although I guess with the wine barrels that would be a tough sell unless Bell's invested in foeders.
