Poured bottle into glass. 5.8% abv
Appearance- Medium amber and cloudy with a thick foamy white head.
Smell- Fresh biscuit-like aroma with toasty maltiness.
Taste- Nothing really pronouned up front. Some bready and earthy malt notes with a touch of grass. Hop bitterness on the back end but not strong.
Mouthfeel- Highly carbonated but a bit watery in body. Less than moderate.
Overall- Not bad, but nothing out of this world. I was more impressed by Bell's two hearted IPA, in fact was blown away so maybe my expectations were set a bit high. I thought this beer could have been more complex. As stated, still an ok brew.
