A- Light coppery amber color. Hazy with some yeast particles. Small creamy off-white head that dissipates slightly leaving a small covering.

A- Slight citrusy hop character. Caramel bready aromas.

T- Initially a citrusy hop hit followed by a sweet caramel bready malt flavor. There is a significant hop flavor, but nothing near overpowering.

M- Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Wonderfully smooth mouthfeel.

D- Very drinkable. Hoppy, but not overdone with a nice malty balance. Very sessionable at 5.5% ABV.

Bottling code printed clearly.

This is the first of several forthcoming Bell's reviews. They don't sell Bell's here in Colorado, so before I moved here I bought a bottle or two of several varieties. And since I just moved, I am broke, so Bell's is all I'll be drinking for a little while. Life's hard sometimes.

a: Deep gold body, cream colored head.

s: Pale malt and earthy hops.

t: Caramel, biscuity malt, is paired with slightly piney, predominantly floral hops. The flavor doesn't blow you away, but the balance brings you back for more.

m: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. A smooth brew.

d: It seems like many amber ales are watery, bland beers that primarily exist to offer BMC drinkers their first taste of "craft." This is not a typical amber ale, this is a more worthy amber ale that offers an above average hop profile and a pretty damn tasty session beer.

A- slightly murky rich gold color with a light but fairly tall white head

S- Mainly citrusy hops but with some nutty and malty notes

T- Start with a orange and pine bite followed by nutty goodness form the malts with an straw note that lingers

M- good carbonation coats the mouth well

A good beer that is very well balanced. It would defiantly appeal to all types of taste.

Appearance- Cloudy, orange body with dark amber highlights. The one finger, white head is now a film.

Smell- There is a decent amount of sweet malts and a good combination of floral hops.

Taste- There is a strong back bone of honey, caramel malts. Wheat starts to come through in the finish that also meshes with the floral hops from the nose.

Mouth feel- It is medium bodied and smooth. There is a little bit of bubbliness from the carbonation.

Overall- It is a very good ale that is refreshing and has an original flavor I have not yet experienced in an ale.

A - A hazy amber body...a solid one inch off white head...great lacing

S - Not too impressive here...just some sweet citrus smells

T - I was surprised here...right off the bat I tasted the citrus hops...they were present throughout my entire palate...now towards the end of my glass the malts started shining through...the taste then produced a caramel covered hop...delicious

M - Medium bodied...creamy and smooth

D - Another solid brew from Bell's...I really liked how well rounded this beer was...I could drink this beer all day

This beer pours a hazy deep toffee color with a thick white head that recedes rapidly leaving minimal spotty lacing on the glass. Nose is primarily of caramel and toffee malts, with a touch of citrus hops. Taste falls in line with the nose, many layers of malts to it - caramel, toffee, with some roasted malts mixed in here, finish has a bit of a fruity sweetness and bite to it. Medium body, low carbonation, smooth and creamy with a bit of a chewiness to it. Easily a sessionable beer.
