This is a good beer, but after having a few glasses of this I was convinced that this should be marketed as just a regular witbier. I'm perplexed to know what is "wintery" about it. Admittedly this is the first winter white that I've ever tried and also I've never associated wits with winter, so I was excited to try it.
The color is a hazy orangish-yellow, but its a clear kind of hazy, if that makes any kind of sense. The smell is pretty weak, didn't get much from it. The coriander is particularly sharp and there is an citrus note that isn't pronounced, but definitely there and specifically orangey, nothing else. Not much residual flavor is initially wheatey and pleasant, but doesn't stay like that. Kinda gets sticky and stale, which makes me want to just drink more.
Like I said, I liked the beer. Just having a lot of difficulty separating this from any other wit. I would drink this in the summer and enjoy it just as much.
