A: Honey yellow with a slight orange tinge, cloudy with a dust storm of yeast particles within.

S: Caramel, hard water, dried grass, very light essence of orange. Light and delicate smelling.

T: A caramel orange quality that is light, not syrupy or sweet, but it feels as if it would become that until it suddenly turns to a bitterness that is long and dull and continuing like an English style. The bitterness is more pronounced than the prior caramel like quality. Its more of a ruby grapefruit pith, not the flesh but the pith and a little flesh together. A certain cereal malt as well.

M: Light syrupy body, but clean bitter dry finish. Medium low carbonation.

O: Drank in Frankenmuth, MI where I picked it up at Kroger. Great brew, love the almost syrupy feel that ends in a smooth clean finish, the way it toys with the mouth is great.

Had at Mothlight Asheville. Poured into a pint glass. Bottle says PKGD 12/13

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/1 inch off-white head that retains a bit before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves a jagged ring behind.

S- Sweet Bready malt with just a tinge of hops.

T- The sweetness continues as the Bready malt makes for a light easygoing flavor with a trace amount of hop bitterness just like in the aroma.

M- A bit on the thin side with medium carbonation and a lightish body.

O- Nothing thrilling but it's not as bad as the score would leave you to believe.
