Draft serving at the brewery, quick review from written notes.
Hazy golden orange, on the lighter end of the spectrum, frothy white foam with a decent skim on the surface. Spotty lace in the glass.
Aroma of sliced apples and light banana, estery yeast.
Crisp feel, apple and banana appear again, with some wheaty smoothness in the middle. Carb is a touch high and there's a little bite to it, but its not bad. Pretty utilitarian take on the style, simple but put together adequately. Not bad but there are better out there, Dancing Man, etc.

Poured a crystal clear amber color with a light thin off white head. Lacks any typical Hefe cloudyness at all.
The smell is lightly sweet with a touch of caramel.
The flavor is thin and watery with a touch of astringency. Lacking all notable hefe qualities, no clove or banana, no wheat flavors to speak of. Taste like a bad amber.
The mouthfeel is thin and light.
Terrible beer, lacks all elements of the hefe style completely. A complete embarrassment

Reviewed from notes.
Pours out a clouded golden-yellow color with a loosely clumped puff of two-fingered foam that only lasts for about one minute before completely dissolving away without leaving any lacing behind. Medium-light body heft and low carbonation levels, producing a slightly too-thin mouthfeel for a hefeweizen.
The banana scent is right on target, but I think perhaps a slight boost in the breadiness of the nose would be warranted to properly match up. The flavor is too tart and fruity, as I had expected from the way the nose presented. Overall the whole thing could use some amplification of bread and some more clove action to keep things spicy and interesting. As it is... It's mostly average and boring, sadly. It needs more work before it can truly stand out from the crowd. At least it wasn't -bad-.
