English-themed pub, and honestly, they did an alright job. Nearly a dozen seats at the bar, a few tall tables on the floor, and a couple on a raised area against the wall opposite the bar. Lot’s of beer/soccer schwag adorning the walls making the place look as if it were a Bennigins decorated correctly (whatever that means!). Well over a dozen taps, but what a snoozer. Some that I remember are Stella, Guinness, Bass, Boddingtons, #9, SNPA, Brooklyn Lager, Double Diamond, Carling, Sam Adams, etc. Bottles were just as boring. Beers offered were in a similar vein, but Leffe and big bottles of Corsendonk were listed. True, they did not offer Bud, Miller, or Coors, bottles or draft, BUT they did have Ultra which 25% of the people were in there were drinking. VERY average beer selection for a place listed as a “beer bar”. I was really hoping for some uncommon bottles like Cameron's, Freeminer, Wye Valley, or even Adnams.

The atmosphere wasn’t too bad, music not too loud, and I didn’t have to be there too long. We only ducked in because it was Beerfly’d and it was only one block away from Zarela where we had a reservation. (Very good authentic Mexican restaurant which I highly recommend. Oh and they have some beers from Casta.) I won’t be coming back here. There’s really no reason. It is certainly not a destination bar by any means.

Lights in the bar give off strange yellow hue. Everyone looked jaundiced. Lights also flickered (more like brown out) every fifteen minutes. The pub is loud and cramped. The two TVs are not flatscreen and are partially obstructed if you sit at a table. The juke box started off being okay, but every song had a whiny 90s feel. Then it became house music and rap toward 9pm. I left soon after.

The staff was pretty clueless. I was constantly asked if I was "okay". The table next to me that kept expanding was pretty well ignored. They were clearly spending far more than I, but the waitress seemed to not notice them at all.

16 taps - one Stella, one Bud Light - the rest craft or foreign brews. Props for having Brooklyn Brewmaster Reserve on tap.

Corona buckets - 5 for $18.00

The food looked and smelled really good. Lots of wings - the burgers looked big and juicy as did the fish sandwich. Fries looked good too.
