On tap at Slater's 50/50 in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spices, and citrusy aromas. Taste is much the same with yeast and fruity flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but I think it tastes better than it smells.

Poured from an 11.2oz. can into a tulip glass.
A- Pours a light yellow-orange pretty hazy, high white head that doesn't stick around too long.
S- Typical Belgian esters of fruit and spice. Slight layers of banana, citrus, clove, some ripe tropical in there too.
T- Mostly getting the spice notes first, then the fruitiness, followed by a yeasty dry bitterness of the finish.
M- Pretty light in the the mouth.
O- A pretty good Saison, good yeast complexity, and a very affordable Belgian beer.

Appealing cloudy appearance, tangerine in color, good foam, excellent lacing, slightly tart, not excessively bitter, neither sour, unmistakable farmhouse style, hints of caramel & orange, smooth on the tongue, carbonation not excessive yet supports and enhances the flavor and appearance - not the type saison with which I’ve become familiar and accustomed
