Light-handed Saison. Straw golden in color with very watery head, not much in the way of lacing. Very prominent honey and sweet clover in the nose, honey sweetness dominates the taste. A little on the watery side, but it tastes fresh and interesting enough. Would make a nice spring after-dinner beer.

Appearance: My can produced lots of sediment and floaters in the pretty apricot body, but not much head, no lace, and went flat pretty fast. (in contrast to a side-by-side of Rayon Vert by Green Flash which is explosive and shampoo lacy.)

Smell: Complex aroma: husky grains, stone fruit, fall orchard, melon, white pepper, spice and honey.

Taste: Grows more intense and floral, starting with a bready opening, that frames the Belgian complex character, with melon, stone fruit, honey, hay, lots of honeysuckle and flowers, and white pepper/herbal spice, then the peppery/herbal flavors and honey intertwine in a long, long finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium body, great finish, with low carbonation

Drinkability: Honey sweet, with balancing complexity and bitter notes. Great with soft cheese, in tonight's case, Camembert.

Well, I feel lots of bitterness, which almost overwhelm everything. However the bitterness lower down when it is warmer, and when finish the drink , there seem to be flavor in your month.
The aroma is the best thing about this beer , smells attractive, attracting you to get closer, though at the first sip, it's really bitter.
I don't feel the spiciness mentioned by others, nor other tastes like citrous or something else, because the bitterness is just too strong ):

St. Feuillien Saison has a medium, off-white head, and a hazy, brilliant (almost luminescent) orange appearance, with very noticeable and relatively large, brown chunks at the bottom. Not much lacing, here. The aroma is of pungent, spicy, horse-blanket, and musty grains. Taste is of all that with maybe white pepper and basil? Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is medium, and St. Feuillien Saison finishes semi-dry and delicious. No complaints, only plaudits, from me.

Poured from a 11.2 oz can into a Duvell tulip. Moderate hand. AA-170 stamped on the bottom, whatever the hell that means. No date.

A: Cloudy, honey-colored body with a moderate amount of visible sediment. 1.5 fingers off-white head with ok retention. Light lacing.

S: Sweet, fruit-forward, slightly musty yeast. Apple, pear. Hay. Honey. Some grape, peach.

T: Slightly spicy, sweet yeast opens. Fruity maltiness develops and yields to some hopping bitterness on a semi-dry finish. mild alcohol presence. The aftertaste draws out with fruit, malt and a slight tang.

M: Moderate carbonation, moderate body. Less carb and more heft than your average saison.

O: If you prefer your saisons malt-forward, fruity and substantial on the palate, then you should enjoy this. Me, I'm thinking more autumn-time drinking for this one.

Prost!

Poured from an 11.2oz. can into a tulip glass.

A- Pours a light yellow-orange pretty hazy, high white head that doesn't stick around too long.

S- Typical Belgian esters of fruit and spice. Slight layers of banana, citrus, clove, some ripe tropical in there too.

T- Mostly getting the spice notes first, then the fruitiness, followed by a yeasty dry bitterness of the finish.

M- Pretty light in the the mouth.

O- A pretty good Saison, good yeast complexity, and a very affordable Belgian beer.
