Bottle from Tavern in Framingham for the Jack's Abby Boston Marathon charity event.

Light fizzy head, super hazy tangerine orange color.

Nose is very nice, floral fruity Belgian esters and fruity slightly tropical citrus fruity hops, light grassy and grainy Belgian saison like aromas, slight vegetable aromas, little green apple skin, light Belgian malts, light farmhouse funk.

Taste is delicious, lots of farmhouse funk but not quite Brett like, lots of saison funk, light grainy bready malts toasty pilsner like, grassy, wet hay, doughy, light spices, chewy, some grassy spicy hops. Finish is fairly dry, lots of earthy spicy grassy hops, more saison farmhouse funk, light bitterness, little sticky despite dry, light fruit.

Mouth is med bodied, nice carb.

Overall very nice. Embodies just about everything I really want in a nice saison, lots of farmhouse funk, good ester profile, effervescent carbonation, grassy, chewy, great character, even a hint of nice tropical fruits on the nose. Very tasty, I will probably still get more just to drink it again!

Hazy orange/yellow body with a huge bubbly white head. The smell is just spot on. You get loads of brett and flowery esters. The taste has loads of crisp apple, pollen/field flowers, and straw/hay. I'm not sure what more you could ask for here. This tastes like a well aged Saison Brett and is close to Logsdon Seizoen Bretta. Really well made and hits the sweet spot for me. Huge effervescence and the taste/mouthfeel are spot on.

750mL bottle two pours into a pint glass.

A - deep orange color. Hazy. Pillowy white creamy head with good retention and just ok lacing.

N - funny, spicy, fruity. A little hoppy.

T - yeasty, funny. Cloves and citrus. Good hop notes. Wet.

M - nice and bubbly. Wild character on the tongue.

O - really great overall. Very fresh and drinkable. Great spring beer.

Cheers!
