Bottle with a handwritten "American" written on it (all american hops), seems legit. Just released this week. No batch info.

A: Cloudy pale orange pour. Big effervescent white head. Head fizzes pretty quickly but has great retention. Big fluffy chunks of lacing everywhere.

S: Nice crisp grapefruit aroma. Light bready malt and a touch of pepper.

T: Again with the grapefruit up front. Swear I get a little pineapple even? Decent hop punch but not some over-the-top DIPA of course. Mild grainy bread for the malt, not much as this is only 4.7%. The finish has some cloves and a little bit of pepper, white pepper I think? Touch of hop bitterness here too. Hint of hop resin.

M: Surprisingly medium bodied and smooth.

O: Nice hoppy BPA. This one supposedly only has american hops, wish I knew what was in it. I'd have to guess citra and...hmm not sure. Almost thinking simcoe but I don't think so. Anyway, not a huge west coast DIPA but at the same time it's very hoppy for a BPA. Nice hybrid. Crisp and flavorful at only 4.7% ABV. Drinks easily too. Nice session beer. Way better than All Day IPA, IMO - only making the comparison due to the name and ABV.

A- Pint glass pour at a bottle share. Some yeast haze around in the glasses. Big, foamy white head forms with some huge bubbles and a few fingers tall. Good retention but it eventually falls to a puffy ring and pillow. Nice clouds of lace around the glass.

S- Some nice lemony and citrus hops atop something that reminds me of French Saison Yeast from Wyeast. Spicy, floral, tropical fruits, tangerine, peppercorns and coriander come to mind.

T- Follows the nose quite nicely with that French Saison Yeast feel and a good amount of hops coming to mind. Good lemon, orange peel, peppercorns, coriander, tangerine is big.

MF- Foamy and somewhat creamy light-end dried out body. Fairly bitter and just a tad of tartness.

Nice sessionable Saison with a decent amount of hop flavor reminiscent of the hoppy Pale Ales of today. Good balance and use of flavors.
