Lucid was brewed back in April and allowed to mature with a blend of yeast and bacteria in stainless for two months before being packaged and tucked away in the barn for an additional two months of natural refermentation and conditioning in the bottle.
As the first Tree House bottle release, we are excited to share this beer with you! Tree House began as a mission to create refined, elegant beers to be enjoyed with friends and the people you love. To that end we have created Lucid, a farmhouse ale that exemplifies the spirit of continuous conscious experimentation here at Tree House. Fermented in stainless with our favorite mix of yeast and bacteria, Lucid presents you with aromas of Chardonnay, grapefruit, pear, and apricot. The flavor follows closely behind exhibiting Champagne-like flavors with an approachable lemony tartness. A natural re-fermentation in the bottle gives Lucid its soft and creamy effervescence. The first of many varied and distinct bottles in the Tree House journey. We hope it delights you!

3000th beer! In a bottle
Look: inviting - pale color, hazy, 1/4" of white foamy head
Smell: vineous, lemon, funk, grass, bread, wine
Tatse: citrus fruit, barnyard funk, white wine, subtle malt, slight rubber
Feel: balanced and crisp, leaving vinous wine citrus to linger
Overall: VERY pleasing w/ layers of flavors that are inviting with each sip. Treehouse hasn't made a bad beer to me yet! Try to get one of these. Cheers!

Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a fluffy, white head. Aroma is definitely tart and funky. Lacto-sour hints and sparkling cider and barny aromas. Flavor is brimming with tartness. White wine flavor with a funky, barny finish. Pale fruit flavors. Body is light and the carbonation leaves me thinking about a sparkling white wine. I was a fan of this beer. Tree House apparently can do it all.

Pretty average offering. Tree House's IPAs and stouts seem to be much more their strength.
