Brewed with Monson’s own Maxwell Road Maple Grade A Dark Amber Maple syrup, Good Morning pours pitch black in the glass with a creamy mousse-like head. The bubbles give way to aromas of rich milk chocolate, cocoa powder, and dark amber maple syrup. The flavor starts as a blast of milk chocolate, sweet maple syrup, and rich fresh coffee as deeper complexities are uncovered as it warms. The crew here at Tree House tastes “chocolate covered maple candy”, “vanilla”, “chocolate cake”, “brown sugar”, and “fresh roasted coffee”. A super decadent treat, Good Morning begs to be shared and contemplated!

For science, had this side by side with Mornin' Delight at TG Mornin' Delight Day.
Look: Not nearly as viscous. Pours a deep black in the glass. Head isn't nearly as deep brown hued, more of a light chocolate color.
Smell: Faint amount of maple, some baker's choclolate, that typical Double Shot coffee note. No where near the intensity of Mornin' Delight.
Taste: Softly rolls over the palate with faint hints of maple, chocolate, caramel, a touch of vanilla even. But leaves me yearning for more.
Feel: I know it's only 8.4%, but it feels like a 5-6% beer. Not thin per se, but definitely the thinner of the two.
Overall: I was so excited to try this as it SHOT to the top of the BA 250 list, but I left feeling like there was more to be desired. Good stuff none the less, but nothing I'd go ape over trying to get.

November 2015 growler. First owner, fridge stored. Maple is all gone, a lot of coffee still there. Very tasty. A lot thinner then mornin delight. Def want to revisit when fresh.

Wow, everything I wanted from this; coffee, maple, vanilla aromas; maple syrup, bitter coffee, strong dark cacao; bitter ye yet sweet body lingers, sweet, creamy finish.
