A delicate yet pungent showcase for Mosaic hops, this riff on our favorite blonde ale has just the pale malt bill in common with her sister beer, Eureka. Delicate and pleasantly hoppy, with aromatic and flavorful notes of fleshy papaya, orange juice, and mango, you'll have a hard time believing this one is so sessionable. Refined and bright, this is the perfect beer for any occasion. We are absolutely in love with the Mosaic edition!

Canned 6/22

Cloudy straw color, pours with a massive rocky head. Bright, clean, refreshing flavors of mango, citrus rind, crackers and just a little grass. Very easy drinking.

16 oz. can dated 5/19/21, poured into Alchemist glass.

L: About 1.5F head, decent retention, leaves lots of foamy lacing. Beer is a mostly-clear copper color.

S: Tropical fruit punch, with an emphasis on papaya and mango.

T: Lots of papaya and mango, very light malt and very light grassy finish.

F: Light-bodied, moderately carbonated, crisp and clean finish. Well-balanced.

O: These are the beers I am really liking lately, so I'm rating it higher than some might due to the relative lack of complexity in construction vs the big IPAs, but when something tastes great, it tastes great.

Canned 5/19/21. “With Mosaic!” stamped on the bottom of the can

It seems that all the times I make a trip out to Tree House, they never have this or any of its variants. There’s actually been a few times they added it the day after I go there. Anyhow, I finally scored this one, currently the 4th highest rated American blonde ale, a style that is overtaken by Eureka variants at the top of the list. Let’s see what this one is all about

Pours a hazy pale yellow with 2 fingers of white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing

This is very hop forward in the nose, but not in the typical TH fashion. I’m picking up on aromas of lemony hops, bready malt, piney hops, orange rind, and a touch of papaya

A bit less hop-focused and bright in flavor than it is in the aroma, but it’s still quite tasty. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting piney hops, lemon peel, honey, and bready malt. The swallow brings notes of creamy malt, lemon peel, grassy hops, pithy grapefruit, and light pineapple

A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a super crisp and highly drinkable beer. Finishes almost entirely dry with a subtle tart bite to keep the sweetness of the malt in check

Delicious stuff right here. It’s so quintessentially Tree House, but in a much lighter format. I could crush a whole damn case of this. I’m hoping to try the other variants soon

This is a beautiful beer. It pours a light hazy yellow with a towering pure white head. The head recedes to a thin film leaving a few patches of lacing. The nose is sweet fruits reminiscent of guava, mango, and papaya. On the palate the beer starts out with the fruit flavors from the nose, but less sweet. It's balanced quite nicely with some catty dankness. The mouthfeel overall light as it should be. Carbonation is moderate. This beer is as drinkable as it is flavorful. Just a great job by Treehouse making near perfect session beer. I have buyer's regret in that I didn't purchase more than the 4 cans I can home with. Highly recommended.

Serving: Can
Canned: Aug-2-2019 (Consumed Aug-18)

It pours a hazy dandelion-esque yellow with a nice creamy head of a couple fingers. It ends up pretty much dissipating and leaves some scattered lacing. There's a big tropical-citrus aroma right out of the can. Grapefruit, guava, a hint of resinous pine, old mango, white bread. The flavor is crisply bitter without much (if any) of the fruitiness found in the smell, flat hop bite with some neutral malt underneath. It is very drinkable and pretty crisp and dry compared to some of their other beers, with medium carbonation. It is definitely not a to-style Blonde, but is not as far from that as I thought it would be. I would say that its real accomplishment is that it manages to drink like a Blonde, a Mosaic showcase and a TH beer all at once. Very nice little beer. I'd gladly have another. Thanks a ton, Pope o' silliness.
