Filled today @ Tree House

Foggy yellow color topped with a loose, bubbly head. Spotty lacing. Smells light, but freshly hoppy. Sticky, pungent hops...spicy, skunky, and fruity with some biscuity malts. Smooth, oily hop flavor with a very pleasant, fresh grainy finish. Floral and citrus notes mix with a bit of cracked pepper. Melon, grape, lemon, grass...amazing flavor for under 4%. Crisp, light, a little sticky with all those lupulin oils coating the mouth. Obviously super drinkable and a great introduction to Tree House. I can't wait to crack my growler of Julius.

750ml THB swing-top bottle filled at the brewery.

First THB glass pours with a 1/2" white head, over the cloudy light orangey amber brew. Head promptly recedes to an uneven froth, strong around the edges, with leggy slow-falling lace. Aroma is moderately tart citrus.

Taste has underlying citrus from end to end, tart upfront, earthy and rounded in the middle, with a sharp close. Lingers after the swallow as well. Mouthfeel is soft over the tongue and smooth, and drinkability is easy. As sessionable as the abv would indicate.
