Went there on a Wednesday around 4P.M. and got through the line in about 5 minutes to pick up some Julius and Sap. Very interesting place in a remote area. Drove about 45 minutes to the place and the drive was scenic. The place was very organized and the line moved fast. The allotment was ready for you to pick up by the time you were ready to pay.

The place is a bit strange in a sense that they don't have a license to serve beer, so you cannot be on their property to consume the beer you just purchased. I recommend finding a BYOB near bye and consuming the delicious beer that they just sold you.

I'd like to visit this place on a growler fill day also but that's for another time. Definitely worth coming here to buy the brew, but have some other activities planned nearby when you do come.

Nice sunny Wednesday at the legendary Tree House. After a long ass drive from PA I made it at 3 pm on a Wed. Julius and Haze were the cans. Maybe 6 people in line ahead of me. Everything was prepped and my 10 cans were already on a flat so I was in and out in 10 minutes tops including a pee in the porta potty (did I mention the long drive). Looked like a cool space would be interested to see how it went on growler days. It is out in the boonies a bit (not as bad as HF) but not a lot out there. Google maps took me on a scenic route that made me sure I was lost especially since I lost all mobile coverage around the brewery.
Overall awesomeness of the beer made it a good trip but can't really call it an experience. Definitely go but have a plan for somewhere to go after if you want to have fun.

I look forward to each time I get to visit. Their current retail area is separated from their brew house by no more than ropes that help corral the hordes of visitors.
What makes a visit here truly special (aside from the excellent beers!) is the great vibe in the line. Each time I've visited I've had the pleasure of chatting with some great people in line, whether they're grizzled veterans of many a Tree House release or giddy first timers everyone seems to be happy to be there.
Something that continues to impress me bust after visit is the efficiency with which the TH crew operates. They manage to crank through hundreds of visitors a day and maintain an excellent level of service. Every staff member from the guys passing out growler cards, the crew selling cans, the pour girls filling growlers, to Deano running the checkout line seems genuinely happy to see you there and have your business.
My only complaint about TH is the selection. What they do have is top notch but only release 4-5 beers each week. This isn't a problem in itself but given that the releases are staggered over 4 retail days you will seldom, if ever, get a chance to purchase 4 different beers in cans. And given that they have to limit the number of growlers per person to 3-4 you won't always be able to get fills of all their available offerings.
I'm ecstatic that they have plans to build a new, larger brewery and retail space which will eventually allow easier access to their beers. Until then do yourself a favor and make the trip out to Monson, it's my favorite way to start my Saturday morning.

Loved visiting. My only criticism is they ran out of beer! Who can blame them with beer as sought after as these guys. But the people are legit, friendly and very speedy with service. Well worth drive and visit. I would go all the time if I lived within a few hours. I'll be back!

its obviously crowded no matte when you go there. But, it still is so magical to be there. The awesome aroma of hops in the air. A true joy that I wish I was able to experience more.

Reminded me a lot of the vibe at Hill Farmstead prior to the new taproom opening. In the middle of nowhere but absolutely magical once you get there. Lined up for about 4 hours but it was well worth it. It's luck of the draw with what you get on any given day, especially when you can't make your travel plans at the last minute, but whatever you end up with is worth it. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the brewery, once you get inside, is beautiful and in pristine condition. A must-visit.

Great Brewery. Easy to find, employees directing parking, single line in - single line out. Was here for retail can sales. Arrived at 11:45, waited on line, and was out by 12:20. Fast, smooth service.

This is a neat place. I drove over 4 hours to get to Tree House. I waited in line for over an hour in temperatures less than 20 degrees with a 100+ other people. Everyone is talking beer and very cordial. Once the door opens it is orderly and efficient. The beer is the best. Only downside is they didn't have all their beers available when I was there or else I would have bought them all.

If you don't live near Tree House and can't get their beer at a moments notice, you're missing out. Great staff; very friendly, helpful, and informative and most of all a blast to join for a good beer purchasing. Dean - you know what's up.

If you DO happen to live somewhere in the vicinity of 2 hours away or less, well then you just may have found the one place you will ever need to visit to purchase beer again! The beers these guys produce are not only top notch, but the are a bit further up the pole in a place where the notches can't be put - Out of this world good.

Seriously, as if it can't be driven home enough, I could drink nothing but Tree House Brewing beer for the rest of my life and be satisfied. Nothing I've had yet compares to their best brews.

Also, as a side note, the inside of the brewery is beautiful. This is one you really do NEED to check out.

By far the best brewery in New England. I've been going to Tree House for two and a half years now and seeing how far they have come is awesome! The new retail and brewery is fantastic and exactly how I imagined the folks at TH would want it to be. I never mind waiting in line even if it is over an hour to get their amazing beers and I've never been disappointed by anything I've tasted. I remember my first trip to TH standing in line an hour before opening, outside the old red barn across the street from the current brewery, and once you step inside it was pure beer glory. The wood clad walls and warmth from the wood burning stove made the room seem like home. The bellowing call of 'we got a big big big tipppaaahhhh!' coming from Dean at the checkout line, almost making you feel obligated to leave a nice tip for all the hard work that was put into the glorious beers you will soon consume, and for the wonderful pour girl Lauren. But of course I never thought twice about not leaving a healthy tip. Looking up at the chalkboard with the current line up of available beers for growler fills and being happy to see that Julius, That's What She Said, Good Morning, and Sap were all on tap. What an epic line-up for my first Tree House experience. Looking back now I can't believe how lucky I was to heed the advice of a fellow friend who visited TH and decided to make a trip to Monson that random Thursday evening and experience the glory of Tree House. If you have not been there yet, make it a point in your beer consuming life to do whatever it takes to make it out to Tree House. You won't be disappointed.

Was worried about the long lines and if I would be able to score some cans, not only was their operation very efficient but they lowered the can pp amount so everyone would be able to score some cans of each of their releases. Great people, good music and world class beers.

I've never had a bad beer from this brewery. Can't wait to go back...if you're into world class beer for a middle-class price, then this is the place for you.

They handle the crowds well, can line moves really quick. Cards for growler fills can take long, but that's the price you pay for great brews. No tastings or pours, but that's fine, keeps the lines moving. All the employees have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Top notch operation. They keep their website, twitter, etc. updated so you can usually have an accurate idea of what will be available each day (depending on the crowds).

Have had the good fortune to visit TH on multiple occasions and have experience both "can-only" service as well as combined days. The lines are usually long, even on a random Wednesday with no real premier releases but come prepared to wait and it's definitely worth it. Here's to hoping they're able to find a way to up production a bit so that an hours + wait doesn't mean 4 cans of something.

This is essentially the optimal brewery experience, with the exception of the deservedly long lines. Friendly, engaging employees serving the best IPA's and stouts the country has to offer.

Very friendly staff and super helpful (if it's slow enough talk to Dean awesome guy). They come out and go up and down the line answering questions and explaining how to process your order once in the building. Grab a seat at the picnic tables and play some corn hole while you wait for you wait. Once inside you can see the whole productions facility which is very well lite and usually grab a beer right off the line. Last time I got Haze they were canning it and filling the flat boxes as you order it was awesome.

Always an amazing product produced by the folks at tree house. Only negative was the lengthy waiting line. And the jackass who was allowed the cut the entire can line without regard for his fellow man.

I won't go into the details of my one and probably only Tree House experience, but if you want to PM me about it, I'd be glad to regale the story. When I did visit, it was a pretty substantial release, so the tasting room was not open for sampling beer, but I pretty much got the gist of things. TrH is in a huge warehouse, essentially in the middle of nowhere, in between two or more farms, which you find after driving through some town that looks like something from the Nightmare Before Christmas. The can/growler process I found to be a bit chaotic, but all things considered, it was not too bad, and the employees were just busting their humps doing the best they could amid the droves of customers. As far as the beer goes, there's obviously a lot of good stuff going on here. It's quite overhyped in my opinion, but there's really nothing bad to say about the brews here. Worth checking out, but for me, repeated visits are probably not likely. It's good to have a source...that's all I'll say.

I love this place. I want to give them all fives across the board, but being constructive, they have certain limitations of variety based on size and while all of the beers are great, some are merely amazing rather than exceptional.

Overall despite how busy the place was I actually had a good time coming out to it. The vibe in the place is nice, the staff interactions were really funny (guy yelling famous "Big Tippah"!). Beer is top notch, best IPA in my opinion, and the look of the place is cool. Also the fact that the actually brewery itself is totally out in the open and exposed is cool to so you can peer at the huge tanks of God's nectar while you wait for your own taste.

Nice place, very fun atmosphere, people are great. The beer is in such high demand that they don't always have what you may want. Their website is excellent at presenting what will be for sale so you can know ahead of time. It's not exactly the easiest place to get to from where i live so knowing what's available ahead of time is critical.
Today I bought Julius while moments after it was canned. Literally, I watched the cans get filled, put into a flat box, and passed over to me. That's pretty cool.
