First off I'm a huge wheat beer fanatic. I am also a huge west sixth fan. This however didn't suit my palletIt.

T-Taste well my mother happened to be over and I let her try it she Said it tastes like a what she imagined a dragon fly would taste like. I can't say she's that far off. If you like green tea or earthy tastes this is for you. I however don't prefer the taste of dirt and old shrubbery. If you could lick the inside of an old hippies soul, I believe it would taste something like this. Actual tasting notes pond water, flies,Cattails, lots of citrus I'd say that's the major note, grassy yes not to bad though. Some lavender but not over powering faint if anything. All on all it just isn't pleasant to me.

O-odor go to the store pick up a steel reserve and take a whiff. I mean it smells like day old malt liquor and tin. I can't really pick up much more.

M- manifestation Well the best part is when you swallow it because the lavender comes out and you can't taste it any longer. It never really manifests to anything besides what you want it to be is over.

This is nnot the best offering from them imo.

Poured into a Florida Beer Co. tapered glass. No freshness date.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 3/4 inch off-white head that retains very well before reducing to a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a large center bump of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves a broken ring behind.

S- Some slight cereal grain sweetness with a bright shot of lemongrass right after. Smells more like a pale ale than a wheat beer.

T- Bready malt with a moderate hop bitterness and a faint trace of lemongrass in the finish. Still very little to no wheat presence detected. Decently drinkable, just not the expected flavor profile.

M- Small tingle from the hops and medium carbonation. Body is leaning toward the lighter side.

O- Would never have guessed this was a wheat beer if I didn't know beforehand. Would have scored higher if labelled as a pale ale.

I gave this beer a solid 4 all the way around. The mouth feel is very light, which matches the overall taste and smell of the beer. It is not overly hoppy or bitter, which is nice in a warm weather beer sometimes. If you want to drink a beer after being outside in the hot sun, this is definitely the go-to beer for that.
