Cloudy orange pour with 1.5 finger of light tan head. Laces very well, with a heavy sheet down the backside of the glass. Nice lace rings on the front. Thin head retention.
Nose is biscuit malt balanced against mango and tropical hops. Light citrus under that. The fruit plays well with the biscuit.
Some mango sweetness creeps in at the finish, but otherwise there is just a bit of biscuit malt to balance against this. Fairly dry after the mango dissipates. ABV well hidden.
Feel is about right, but could tend to be a bit thicker against the biscuit presence.
Overall, a decent drinking IPA that I would get again.

Pours an orange-golden with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit, floral, pine, a touch of something a tropical, and toasted bread. Flavor follows suit. a heavy to medium bodied, active mouthfeel, my one little complaint as I wish the beer were lighter and crisper. Overall, a nice local IPA. One of those beers I sense will grow on me the more I drink it and one that I will happily return to.

Poured into a Dogfish Spiegelau glass. No freshness date.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam.
S- Nice aroma of equal parts grassy, slightly citrusy hops and cereal grain malt sweetness.
T- Some citrus in the front gives way to a sweet malt follow-through and some moderate bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink. Bitterness lingers but not too long. ABV is well-masked.
M- Slightly sharp but moist and quenching. Medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- A serviceable IPA that has some decent balance while still having that hop-forward flavor and bite.

served from a can into a tulip glass. assuming this beer is of good freshness, as it was bought in NKY.
pours a nice golden orange with a nice, foamy head that lingers on the glass and the top of the beer. somewhat hazy, but not as hazy as an unfiltered beer.
smells of pine, some grassy notes and a slight sweetness to it. they use centennial, colombus, cascade and citra hops in this beer so it comes across kind of west coast style, only a tad sweeter with the citra hops. the malt profile includes honey, which perhaps add the sweetness
on the tongue, this beer opens with a nice piney hop bite, not overly bitter, slight tropical notes and some sweetness. the malts play more than a west-coast style would, but not so much like more east-coast styles. some sweetness from the honey mixed with the hop bitterness. full-bodied mouthfeel with a good amount of carbonation. finishes dry. sometimes i got a sort of pungent, rare-steak-blood flavor left on the middle of the tongue.
overall, i like this beer. i'm proud of the KY for making it too (alma mater state). the hop profile is nice in this beer, the malts are nice too, and this brew ends up being solid. nothing amazing, but certainly an enjoyable beer.
