Poured from a can into a large wine glass. Golden honey color, hazy, with a giant foamy head that sticks around and then leaves good lacing as you drink.

Aroma is hoppy, maybe some citrus hops, a little floral.

Taste is where this one shines. Very hoppy up front, but not overly bitter on the backend so it is pleasant to drink, unlike a lot of IPAs.

Mouthfeel is carbonated, as expected from all the foam, but it works well with this beer.

Not sure that I would seek this one out, but compared to a lot of IPAs I find locally, this one is pretty drinkable.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and some faint amber + copper + golden yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith hops and light aromas of dank hops over a light aroma of caramel malts.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of caramel malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith and pine hops. Light to moderate amounts of lingering bitterness are present.

M: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Slightly chewy.

O: Fairly easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but perhaps a little too bold to be a beer that I would enjoy multiple during a single afternoon/evening. The hops really stand out in this one.

12 ounce can poured into a pint glass.

A - Pours out a nice pale amber color with a thick, long lasting foamy head.

S - An explosion of citrus hops that does not fade as you drink the beer. There is also some hint of pine as well as malt.

T - The citrus hops dominate and give way to a bread like malt finish with just a hint of pine.

M - Very well carbonated with a very rich mouth feel.

O - My first West Sixth experience and certainly not my last. If you like a very well hopped IPA with a kick this one is certainly worth a try.
