Poured from a 12oz can courtesy of @byrdst23 into a teku glass:
Appearance: pours a pretty golden yellow color, with a thick, sudsy head. Can tell just by looking at it it's got a little ABV behind it. Slow rising little bubbles buttress the long-lasting foam. Leaves tons of spotty lacing.
Aroma: a little muted here, but the aroma is lots of pine, and some very light citrus. You can definitely smell a little sweetness here too, which makes me think it's gonna be a little malty for my tastes.
Taste: I don't see the hops listed in the notes section here, but if I had to guess.......Simcoe and centennial (maybe Amarillo?) Lots of piney bitterness, and some underlying citrus as well. It's pretty boozy at 9.5%, and the booze definitely comes through, but it's not terribly sweet or hot. It actually reminds me of a slightly less refined Hop Juju. Heavy, with lots of pine as the dominant taste, and a little bit of citrus and grapefruit as well.
Feel: thick and creamy, with a stickiness that lingers for a while. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: this is a solid DIPA, and a very nice trade extra. Like stated above, it reminds me a little of Fatheads Hop Juju, or maybe 90-Minute.

Pours a deep amber color, thick off white head falls oh so slow with great lacing.
Aroma is big caramel malt sweetness, over ripe fruits, pine needles, underlying citrus rind bitterness.
Taste is big sweet malty beer with deep hop notes under it all. Good bitter citrus rind, over ripe fruits and pine. It's lightly dank with lingering resin on your tongue.
Mouhfeel is big medium with smooth carbonation.
Overall big smooth IPA good bitterness, but not overly done.

Very nice, balanced double IPA. Perfect amount of hop & malt sweetness in harmony, lighter than I expected. Very nice. I'll have another!

Thanks Matt for sharing!
Dark amber orange, off white foam. Sudsy with a lot of sticky lacing and lasting surface coverage.
Aroma is sweet, caramel malt tends to dominate with a mild vegetal note behind it.
Taste is heavy on sweet caramel malt, hops are muddled and get lost in the mix. Sticky and boozy.
Heavy body, resiny bitter aftertaste, not much in the way of hop flavor. Not my style of DIPA.
