12 oz. Bottle

Pours a pretty nice dark brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger thick/creamy light tan head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, roasty, chocolate/toffee. The taste is malty, roasty, with some chocolate/toffee. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Poured from a 12oz bottle, purchased from a 4 pack at the brewery; bottled on date of 7/19/16.
Appearance- black but lets light pertrude to form a mohagany hue on the edges. A thin to medium creamy, khaki head. Lacing is a thick sheet along the back of the glass!
Smell - chocolate milk, mild coffee and done semi sweet chocolate!
Taste - this is a session stout with some nice coffee and chocolate flavors that holds that watered down feel at bay!
Feel - light and easy drinking with a creamy mouthfeel and mellow finish!
Overall - this may be one that I revisit during the winter on a football weekend. Low ABV crusher perfect for cold weather days!

I think this might be one of the better looking beers I've poured. Pours pitch black with big, frothy foam. It almost looked like a root beer float the foam was so frothy and creamy looking, and very slowly dissipates.

Smell is about what I expected from the pour. Very nice. Chocolatey with strong hints of coffee.

Taste is malty and almost tastes like a carbonated chocolate coffee drink. Low abv, but lots of flavor and very drinkable.

Good going down, its almost like a desert beer for me. Good carbonation that isn't overpowering but there is definitely a strong chocolate aftertaste, which isnt necessaily a bad thing.

Overall I really like this beer. I do prefer double stouts and something with a little higher abv in general, but this is one of the better american stouts I've had. Price point is good also, and will revisit this beer in the future. The only issue I had and maybe worth noting is that I could probably feel the caffeine more than the alcohol itself. I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, and I was up later than expected

Served in a shaker pint at the brewery.

A- thin frothy khaki head. Pitch-black liquid. 4

S- Bold coffee flavor offers nuttiness, sweet cream, chocolate and light fruitiness. 4.25

T- Follows the nose with nutty, chocolatey coffee flavors and light caramel. Coffee lingers for days. Toffee sweetness shows. 4

M- Light bitterness and light, easy-drinking mouthfeel. Sweetness is there but mellow as is the carbonation. Drinks well. 4

Damn good. I get down.

This is what a coffee stout should be. Nice crisp clean coffee smell and taste. Nothing bad on the back end. Dark. To dark to see through a pint glass. Clear and clean when poured out thin. Very nice. Will buy more. Good job to the brewers.
