L: Slightly muddy hazy orange amber color with a medium creamy white head and nice rings of lacing around the glass.
S: Notes of caramel and toffee, strong pine notes mixed with notes of citrus.
T: Strong notes of caramel and toffee, a strong piney bitterness, with notes of citrus around the edges. The booze is noticeable. A little malty for an IPA, but the bottle is a little old.
F: Pretty full body and creamy carbonation.
O: A little malty for an IPA but still nice. My bottle was a little old but would like to try a fresher one.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a pretty nice clean/clear golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice small creamy off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, some malts, citrusy. The taste is hoppy, kinda malty, citrusy. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Poured from a 12oz bottle as part of a 4 pack, purchased at the brewery; bottled on date of 9/20/16; into a pint glass.
Appearance- ice tea orange, swirling carbonation bubbles and a thin, bubbly white head. Lacing is weak.
Smell - tropical and citrus fruits dominate; primarily juicy fruit gum and mango, delicious!
Taste - more of the tropical fruits with a hint of booze, but well hidden and balanced out!
Feel - medium body, with just a touch of syrup from the booze. Very nice bitter profile from start to finish!
Overall - has the tropical and citrus characteristics that I prefer; really well crafted DIPA if you dig this hop package!

Wow! Love this beer!
L-Pours a bright fiery orange. Head dissipated quick but left behind tons of lacing on the snifter.
S- Smells like orange marmalade( sweet) pineapple and bit of hops and alcohol heat (not unpleasant).
T- Orange marmalade, sweet pineapple finishing with a slight bitterness.
F- slick from the body and sweetness with some bitter tingle on the backend of the sip.
I- Great stuff. AJ the brewer (owner?) was super awesome to personally pour me a snifter and talk to me about the beer. Great experience at a very good but relatively under appreciated brewery.

Hazy cooper pour from can into a pint glass. Explosive, gargantuan head, thick caked lacing.
Malty nose, with earthy biscuit notes.
Taste is heavy on caramel but also on earthy pine. There's mineral, and it's bitter and a bit dry. I'm missing any juicy citrus and other typical hop notes. Is this intentional?
It's hard to pin down if this is just a way different DIPA than most, or if I got from a bad batch. Can is dated 7/22/16, so we're talking less than a month old, which is quite fresh for a canned brew. After awhile the pine essence grows on me a little, but I can't help but notice the lack of citrus/ sweetness.
I do pick up yeast, and pine zest. A hint of medicinal. Baffling.
It's as if it should be bad, but my overall impression can't allow me to label it as such. It's different for sure. I would actually try it again to compare (after finding a can with a date that's different than this one).

I am logging this. It is July 3 2016. the beer has a date stamp Jan 5 2016. The hoppiness of this is gone. It almost tastes like a chocolate stout. and it is not bad. Doesn't taste like and IPA. No bitter, no citrus. If you are reading this my point: an IPA has high ABV, and IPA that is old has lost it's best characteristics: hoppy flavor. As I said this beer must be good, because even not fresh it tastes good. If you love IPA's drink them fresh! I will drink a again fresh and update my review. cheers!
