Appearance: Brilliantly clear straw yellow, with thick, rocky white head.
Smell: Tangly floral hop aroma, very similar to a pilsner, but with a more prominent malt undertone. Also some mild cheese-like notes, as well as a touch of bubblegum.
Taste: Initial brief (very brief) sweetness, which gives way to flowery hops, faint malt, some green apple notes, and hints of freshly mown grass. The finish has a very strong saltine cracker flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated.
Drinkability: Light, low-alcohol, and refreshing. Very clean. Would not have guessed it was an ale.
Overall: In general, I prefer sweeter, darker, thicker beers than this. So it's hard for me to rate this beer objectively. But it was a good change of pace, and I enjoyed the tantalizing hints of sugary sweetness at the beginning. Certainly a good, refreshing summer beer.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: Extremely clean look. Transparent very pale yellow golden color. Finger and a half of head on the pour. Above average active carbonation in the glass while drinking.
Smell: Aromas of straw and hay hit the nose first. Sweet soft malt backbone is picked up but takes a back seat. Light tropical fruits compliment the straw tones very well.
Taste: Easy going biscuity malt front greets the drinker. That sweetness carries over into the body which adds some fruit and very mild bitterness. Bready finish that leaves a light pleasant sweetness behind.
Mouthfeel: Some lingering malt tones on the finish. Super easy drinking.
Overall: A simple yet well crafted beer. Biscuity malt is prevalent with some fruitiness to add a bit of complexity. Really easy beer to sit back, relax, and just enjoy.
