Just changed it to Irish Dry Stout instead of American Stout because the brewer states so in it's website.

The quintessential stout pour, a dark as midnight color, the head modest in size, frothy in texture and the residual lace adequate to coat the glass. Lightly toasted grains to start, coffee, caramel sweet, the start malt and also somewhat sweet, the top middling in feel. Finish is peacefully hopped, the acidity moderate and the aftertaste very dry.

Moderate tan head that dissipates quickly, does leave moderate lacing behind. Pours a very dark black, aloowing no light to shine through at all.

Slightest bit of hops in the nose, lots of roasty malts, licorice, molasses and burnt coffee.

When I tasted this one I was shocked, after having all these wonderful components of the aroma, the flavor was highly lacking. There was a bit of roasted barley and a little bit of citrus hops in the finishbut needs a lot more body and malt.

Carbonation level was good but the body is very thin and watery.

I am still amazed thata beer could have all of this going for it in the smell and have so little actually in the beer.

NIce one. This brewery has also its own backtaste on every beer they brew. The colour is totally black and the foam sticks to the glass properly. IT is white and not very thick. But it worths a try to taste this beer and more than once. I am not so sure it is an american stout.

I just came back from the beer factory, I had 2 of these with paired with a big cheeseburger.

It looks practically black. It came with a 1 inch head that lasts forever.

I smelled caramel, roasted grains and some floral scents. Very nice indeed.

The taste offers some delicate sweetness initially, with coffee and chocolaty flavors fumbling around the palate. Ends with less bitterness than I expected. Leaves a pleasant dry feel. It's nice, but honestly, I was expecting a bit more action...

It feels kinda watery... which let me down a bit.

It's drinkability is good, but definitely needs some food.

Overall, black looks, perpetual head, coffee taste, watery consistency... all seem to be "trademarks" of Guinness Draught. It's not a bad brew, but I was expecting more from a craft brewer. It's still quite enjoyable though.

Got this one a gift from a friend from my college years whom I've not seen in a long time.

Long neck dark bottle, with a simple label with a full moon which honrs it's name, which in Spanish means exactly that: Full Moon. A best before date of mid April.

Pours a really dark, that looks dark ruby when seen through a light; brown and compact head, that leaves some lacing along the glass walls.

Smell is of roasted and caramel malts, plus some sweetness in the back.

Taste is, in my humble opinion, very similar to Guinness: Roasted malts, some mocha coffee and grains.

Mouthfeel is round, medium body with some bitterness. Less watery than Guinness, though.

Drinkability is high, but not in all Mexican weathers. It suits better Central México, where summers are not so hot; and Northern winters. Too bad that these guys only sell their brews in México City.
