Boogie Monster emerged as an early double IPA in our line up, and as a foil to our beloved Witchshark. The latter utilizes hard hitting hops more commonly associated with the style, like Cascade and Columbus, whereas Boogie harnesses the super tropical, earthy, blueberry-tinged elements of Mosaic and Citra.
Hazy from our intense hopping rate, and fruity as ever, Boogie Monster is back after a hiatus spent jumping out of dark closets and terrorizing humans.
Well-balanced with moderate bitterness, the light malt body of this beer allows the bold and fruity hop aromatics to shine. Notes of green grape, citrus peel and blueberry. Scarily drinkable.

Got this one from the brewery in Toronto.
From a 473ml can into a pint glass
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1+ finger, looser, foamy white head with good retention. Hazy opaque amber orange with medium levels of carbonation. Head slowly recedes to a full, foamy wisp. A full wisp cap remains leaving some decent foamy lacing on the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Pineapple, apricot, melon aromas with caramel on the nose. Lemon and passion fruit as well. Bold and super enticing. Great stuff.
TASTE: Melon, lemon, caramel and pineapple sweetness up front with notes of grapefruit at the swallow. Strong finish of caramel and pineapple sweetness, passion fruit, then some grapefruit and piney bitterness lingering nicely on the palate. A touch of alcohol as well.
PALATE: Medium body with higher levels of carbonation. Semi-creamy on the palate, goes down smooth with a bit of a burn and finishes a bit mouth coating. Some bitterness and light heat lingers.
OVERALL: Great! Bellwoods comes through again with another excellent DIPA. It might be a little foamy for my tastes, but there’s lots of nice aroma and flavor all wrapped up here, which made it entirely too easy to drink this way too fast. Lovely and lovely again. Cheers!

This is certainly one of Bellwoods' better crafts.
Nice, hazy pour with a gently retaining head. The nose is nice and unobtrusive.
Bitterness up front, along with something else, reminds me of lemon grass. Some citrus tones and then a sweet ending. The biggest distinction here is the velvety, creamy smoothness that I have yet to experience with any other IPA, double or otherwise. It's almost oily, but not in a bad way.
A very good beer.

Above average iipa. Amber gold pour with a small head. Peach and mango in the aroma and taste. Biscuit malt backbone, medium body. Alcohol well hidden.

Really hazy bright yellow color with slightly off-white head. Aroma is dank, oniony but also tropical with sweet fruits. Taste starts quite bitter up-front, dank, really hoppy, chivey, some clean malt in the background, really well balanced. Medium plus body, smooth mouthfeel. Overall it's a great, NE style DIPA with a very well hidden ABV.

A-Hazy but still bright golden yellow with a white head that lingers, good lacing.
S-I get lots of citrus and a pleasant malt backbone, reminiscent of Carastan/Carafoam malt. There is also a subtle honey note
M-Peppery on the tongue and at the back of the throat. Crisp and dry
T-Dry and spicy upfront with a sweetness that comes in afterward. There is a puckering effect that comes at the end from bitterness of the hops and carbonation
O-Solid IPA
