Thanks to a buddy for picking this up. Oh baby does this beer smell like a floral/citrus hop bomb. And its a brown ale too! Pours a dark brown with good head. Tastes of citrus hops with a slight floral taste in there too and very light roast or chocolate notes in there. A very refreshing beer and ever sip was delicious. This brewery totally kicks ass.

Beer is dark brown in colour, with a moderately-sized tan head. Good retention and lacing.
Smell is quite malty, with nutty scents and vanilla. Also a notable hop presence, some citrus.
Taste is like the nose, but hops are stronger. Nutty and malty flavours, with a bit of bitter coffee. Some citrus fruit, and the hops lend a notable bitterness.
Medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Quite smooth.
Overall, a pretty nice beer. Certainly in the brown ale camp, but with a stronger hop focus than normal.

On tap at the brewery, into a pint glass.
Dark brown, with mahogany highlights. Tan head, good lacing and light retention. Nose of chocolate, light roast and nutty character and perhaps even a touch of coffee. Citrus-y American hopping in the back. Taste has chocolate, roast, lightly nutty and earthy. Bitter citrus and piney hops come a bit later and carry on into the finish. Medium body, lighter medium feel. A nice, aptly named brown ale. Hops could be toned down just a tad perhaps, and the body perhaps a tad fuller.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery. Aptly named, as it is a hoppy beer(Centennial and Chinook) well integrated with chocolate malts. This contrasts to the usual brown available in Canada, which is a licorice dominated British style. Nicely done and good drinkability. Dark brown coloured, lacey. Be patient and drink this closer to room temperature to get the full flavour.
