Stopped in last Wednesday and had a good experience. Normally when my husband and I visit a place for the first time, we'll ask to go through a sampler of all of their beers first, so that we can find what we like and order full ones. Plenty of times we find that what we liked was different than what we thought we'd like. Well, we got the explanation that the brewer doesn't -believe- in that, that you can't appreciate a beer in a couple sips, so, whatever. Artists can be difficult like that. Fortunately, with only six beers on and the option for a half pint, we were still able to try all six between the two of us over the course of our lunch.
The food was great for standard pub fare. I think the lady who cooked it actually brought it out to us, and she and the bartender both watched nearby as we dug in to make sure it was okay.
The beer was good, slightly above average. Keep in mind that this place focuses on traditional English styles and service, so don't expect a west coast IPA or a trippel any time soon. (Yes, they have guest taps to cover the styles of beer that they don't make, but I won't rate a brewery on the availability of someone else's beer.) All of the selections were a little more mild than I normally would choose, but it was lunch time in central Georgia during late June, so we didn't want to get knocked out anyways. We still had three more breweries and a Braves game scheduled for the evening. We were having lunch beers for lunch, so it was perfect. I'd want something with a little more octane later in the evening, though.
Neither the menu nor the beer list covers a wide variety, but for what they do, they do it quite well for such a new place. For traditional English pub food and beer, you're not going to do much better, if that's what you're looking for.

This is a fun, unpretentious brewpub south of Atlanta and well worth the drive. They have plenty of parking in the back - turn on 4th street, and there's a nice big lot. When you walk in you really feel as if you are in a cozy neighborhood pub. Their beers are darned good, and you can have half pints so you can enjoy all of them without getting quoxed. They have some excellent guest taps as well. Food is tasty typical pub fare, not outstanding but at least palatable and filling. Servers are alert and friendly but not too familiar, and make you feel welcome. I drove all the way from Buckhead (north Atlanta) to visit this place, and I am glad I did! Worth a visit if you are in the Atlanta area.
