Cashmere Hammer drinks like the best darn milkshake you’ve ever had. It’s rich, creamy, packed with chocolatey goodness and an earthy spice that can only come from rye malt. And, as if that isn’t rare enough, this beer is nitrogenated, something shockingly few breweries in the country can do in a bottle. We spent 18 months in research and development building our double-secret bottling line to get that smooth, velvety mouthfeel that only nitrogen can impart.

A nice stout poured from a bottle. A simple, straight-forward beer, a simple stout essentially, that does the job.
A down and dirty review as I didn't have any method to take notes or a picture. So this is all based on memory from about 60 minutes ago.

It’s a decent stout. The flavor and feel don’t really excel, but definitely satisfy. I think the nitro saves this beer from being forgettable.

Had on tap. Pours a standard dark ruby with a tan head and a pretty copper colored nitrogen effect. It smells like deep chocolate with toffee and caramel with only faint hop bitterness detectable in the aroma. The taste is very deep and intense chocolate with a nice toasty toffee taste at the middle and a satisfying fake chocolate and coffee like bitterness at the finish. This one is very smooth and goes down easily, but it does have a slightly higher alcohol presence than other stouts. Overall something I would not buy regularly but it was very nice on tap.

Great example of this style. Smooth and not alcohol forward. Have had on tap in Wisconsin many times but it’s also available at my local grocery. This isn’t for everyone but it’s very good at what it does.

Served on Nitro Tap at Milwaukee Burger Company in Eau Claire. Thick foamy head, smells of cocoa and mild licorice. The taste equals the smell with just the right amount of malt. I instantly ordered a larger version for my second one. Damn near perfect!

Lovely, silky mouthfeel. Taste is smooth, very little if any perceived harshness. Tastes of chocolate and some yeast fruitiness. Overall a very delicious and enjoyable beer!

12 oz bottle split with my wife. Not nearly as pretty as most nitro stout pours with very little cascading action. Aroma features dark malts and coffee with a hint of sour dark fruits. Taste is similar. Mouthfeel is thin and flat even for a nitro beer. Overall it's very underwhelming.
