Poured from tap at brewery:

Though this is an American Pale Ale, it is mentioned by the brewer that it steps away from the APA style and more towards the British through the use of Golding hops (though they also add Willamette hops).

Pours solid straw-tan hue with decent head that fades to a pretty nice lace.

Smells mainly of the English hops and malts, though it is a very pleasant aroma. Has a bit of an identity crisis on the nose though because I get some citrus notes as well as a tough of evergreen.

Flavor is nice. There is a great bready, toasty note from the yeast, some nice hop backing, and a hint of a floral note. Really streamlined.

Texture is nice. Medium bodied. Solid balance. Good astringency, though not over the top.

Compared to a traditional APA this would seem weak or lacking but compared to British styles (the lighter flavors etc...) It really comes off as a nice change of pace. A good find.
