Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into an oversize wine glass.
A - pours a coffee black with a slightly tan head. Not an overly large head, with a small collar of foam.
S - roasted malt, coffee, and bitter chocolate. Very nice. Nothing overpowering here, but complex at the same time. Very enjoyable.
T - coffee and bitter chocolate dominate up front, followed by some roasty malts and a fairly crisp finish.
M - relatively light bodied, which I like - it's definitely not heavy and goes down smoothly. It feels a bit overcarbonated, but full disclosure, I'm not as familiar with this style.
O - overall, very nice, complex flavors, but at the same time, nothing crazy. Just a solid porter. And a great name.
