Poured into a pint glass.

4.0 A: Moderately hazed dark orange color. Two fingers of off-white, creamy/frothy head. Retention is above average and a good sized ring of lacing is left.

3.0 S: Lightly toasty with a light crystal malt component. Light herbal and earthy hoppiness. Maybe a touch soapy. Not a lot of going on here.

2.0 T: Much soapier than the nose suggested. Surprising breadiness presumably mainly from the yeast. Mild bitterness without really any hop flavor. Tastes empty.

2.0 M: Lighter to lighter medium body. Moderate carbonation. Chewy from the yeast. Lacking all creaminess.

2.0 D: Not my favorite pale ale. Lacking flavor and a good mouthfeel.

Appears a transparent orange with a small white head that slowly fades into a mild cap. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of caramel, fruity yeast, and a bit of hops.
Taste is of watered down, citrusy, light caramel malt...not a whole lot of much else going on. Perhaps a touch of watermelon rind...if that makes sense. Very one sided.
Mouthfeel is watery with a bit of bitterness but overall, it's very light with nothing big resounding.

Pours a burnt orange/amber color with a 1" white head. Good lacing occurs as well. There are some decent citrus notes but overall the smell was lacking. The taste was almost more pilsner like as opposed to a pale ale. No hops or alcohol taste in there. Feels light and crispy in the mouth but overall, I wasn't too impressed with this one.

A- cloudy copper brew with good retention on a 1 finger tall, off white fluffy head, some thin soapy lacing

S- toasted malts, caramel, pine, citric

T- toasted malts with dominant pine and citric hops flavors, though hints of cardboard throughout

M- medium body with some hop abuse and a dry aftertaste

D- i can imagine this brew being a treat fresh but it wasn't anything beyond not bad this session, one of this brewery's stronger offerings

Cool orange color, thought the color would be so much lighter. Developed a thick, long lasting off white head on it, about 1" in depth. Aroma was lacking in the hops department, but landed squarely in caramel range. A treat to those who want a malt centered aroma pale ale, a disappointment for those who want more of an aromatic hop experience.

Taste, lots more of the caramel and a slight hop bitterness vibe that contributes hardly anything in the taste aspect of a hop. The malt flavor is still toasty, and lighter than one would expect to create such an impressive orange color throughout the beer's life. The yeast has kind of a chewy/sticky on your teeth vibe going.

This is like a pale ale for those who are against hops and alcohol. I think the mild toastiness and the malt flavor is what saves this, but it isn't exciting, and the flavor it does have going for it is not what I want to be the 'star' of the show, I'd rather it be in a supporting role.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of weelovecats138 (thanks!).

Poured a medium and lightly hazy amerish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel with some fruitness. Tastes of the same caramel, fruitiness, and citrus.

Pours a cloudy golden/orangy color, nice carbonation, nice two finger creamy tan head, tons of lacing afterwards. The nose is hoppy, slightly sweet, citrusy, and slight caramel. The taste is hoppy, and a nice touch of citrus (grapefruit), also a nice bitter bite finish. Medium body. Very drinkable, enjoy this beer alot, highly recommended, especially on cask.
