Another Pumpkin Spice brew! Ugh!! This is even worse than Sam Adams Jack-O. I should have suspected something when I saw i was selling cans. Good beers/ales are never served in cans. Only bottles. If it's in a can, it's made for mass consumption. Again, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and allspice have no place in brews.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear orange color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving but a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is huge of a nice roasted pumpkin aroma mixed with lots of caramel and brown sugar. Along with these aromas comes notes of cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a bit of breadiness, producing a nice delicious pumpkin pie smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a moderately bready and more raw like pumpkin flavor mixed with some light caramel and brown sugar sweetness. The sweetness is light upfront, with it getting a bit stronger as the taste advances. At the same time the spice really starts to amp up as the taste advances, with cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg coming to the tongue. All the while, the pumpkin fades a tad, but is replaced by a pumpkin seed like taste, leaving one with a moderately pumpkiny and moderately sweetened taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is lighter and crisper with a carbonation level that is average. A lightly thicker body and lower carbonation level may have been slightly better for the style, but overall, the feel was OK.
Overall – A decent pumpkin brew, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

Pours an effervescent & slightly hazed amber with one finger of cream colored head. A little lacing & minimal head retention
S: Plenty of pie spices & squashyness
T: Follows the nose, nutmeg, allspice & all the usual suspects up front. Some dryness & a slight metallic twang as this warms ( I get this a lot with lower ABV Pumpkin Beers ). Finishes with a little dryness, nutmeg & a slight woodyness
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
Pretty run of the mill for this ilk. Glad I only bought one

I wish I could rate this higher because a six pack of it was kindly presented to me by a Thanksgiving guest, but I cannot. Maybe a bad batch?
Pale orangish brown with little head or lacing. Tasted and smelled like cheap iced tea. Not sure what to do with the rest.

Nitro pour at BitterCreek. Clear and crisp, thick creamy head. Not normally a fan of this style, as it tends to rely heavily on the spice, this one takes more of the pumpkin. Earthy aroma and taste, butternut and pumpkin flavors. Mild bitterness. Super creamy consistency. More fruit (pumpkin) than spice. Well done!

Wasatch has brought back their Pumpkin, but now it's canned and it's nitro carbed. You're supposed to pour it hard (like canned Guinness) to get the most of it. It's still the same beer, same middle of the road flavors, but the nitro does add a touch of creaminess to the mouthfeel. If you like the old bottles version, you'll like the new canned nitro version.
