Along with our friends at Millcreek Coffee Roasters, we have created a smooth, creamy and full bodied stout full of roasted barley flavor and malty richness with a hint of espresso.

One of the best beers I had in Utah. I would try this if you find it on tap.

The beer pours a dark dark brown with tinges of ruby around the edges. The head is tan and sticks around as well. The nose doesn't have much of the coffee I want, but there is a good chocolate quality in there. The flavor is full of good coffee bitter . Damn. Best beer in Utah from a micro on tap. I still have a few bottles to try, but this was amazing for what they were working with. The beer was moderate to thick. A nice beer in feel and flavor. The drinkability was really good. One of those beers I had as a half liter after trying the sampler. If they have it still, try it. I really liked it.

Had this at the SLC airport brew pub. Probably the best beer on tap I've had in Utah (tap beer is limited to 4% in the state). Would probably get old after a full pint, but it's delicious, creamy, and coffee bitter from the first drink. Fully holds your attention.

This powerful stout has a huge roasted smoke aroma. The smoke flavor comes through in the flavor quite nicely. The body is a bit light, but still creamy and flavorful. Not bad. A little thicker would make this one a winner.

Served in .5 liter glass.

Pitch black with deep dark ruby highlights when the beer can let light through. Dense sticky white head.

Hops flavor is potent and upfront with a strong driving roast barley bite sticking through to the midpalate. Finish starts with a round sweetness at the edge of the lips while the center of the tongue dries out from the final assault of the hops and roast.

Dark cocoa brown with a thick, creamy, dirty-tan nitro head.
Light roasted sweetness. Bitter coffee beans. Light smokiness.
Much like the nose. Light roasty sweetness up front. Coffee flavor comes through in the latter half. Dry, roasty finish. Pretty good.
Creamy feel, smooth, low carbonation.
Very drinkable, but should be served warmer (less cold).

Nitro pint at the Brewpub. Pitch black with a wonderfully creamy 1/4-inch head of tan foam. Mocha aroma. Smooth and milky but a bit watery. Decent enough but doesn’t quite live up to the awesome visual and aroma. Almost chocolate milky. (#2790, 4/12/07)

Dense light brown head. Nearly opaque in appearance. Clean, roasted aromas and just a hint of vanilla and diacetyl butterscotch. Thinly bodied for a stout and the light chocolate malt flavors are more akin to a porter. Finishes dry w/ roasted unmalted barley bitterness. It's definitely too light in flavor for a stout, but would make a good porter. I was longing for more malt body and complexity.
