Picked up a bottle from the state liquor store (because as you may or may not be aware, any beer over 4% has to be sold through state liquor stores in Utah) when the circus traveled through Salt Lake City. The bottle I purchased has a born date of 3/29/13. Today is 10/1/13, so it's possible that my review of this beer will be tainted by age.
A - Poured with a finger and a half of white head that lasted a while as well as left a thick lacing on the glass. Color is a bright gold, but the beer is quite hazy, almost the same clarity as the average IPA.
S - Hello Saaz hops, what most people refer to as "cat urine" was strong. There was a slight malty note, but the aroma was pretty much dead on for style.
T - Taste was far weaker and far more watery than the aroma let me to believe, the malt was actually a stronger part of the flavor than the hops. The aftertaste was very weak and rather watery. This would be a decent summer beer if your goal was refreshing and minimal taste.
M - Light and watery, smooth with very little aftertaste.
Overall - There are better Czech pilsners out there, not sad I bought it to try, but I think if I had a six pack of this in 90+ degree weather, the saaz taste would be overwhelming and I'd just be looking for a different flavor after the first couple.

Wasatch Summerbrau has a thick, stark-white head, and a hazy, golden, bubbly appearance, with some lacing left behind. The aroma is of mild sweetness, bread, sugar, and lightly-roasted malts, and the flavor is of sweet, lemony, sugary, light malt, a bit of mild hops, and a touch of sourness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Wasatch Summerbrau finishes dry, refreshing, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is a very good beer.

12 oz bottle pours an uber-light yellow color - I was shocked as I was watching it escape from the top of the bottle "holy shit! Is this clear"?! Does have some nice, sticky white head that forms some good lace and clarity is fantastic.
Nose is fairly on point for a pils - grassy hops, slight sulfurous lager yeast, honeyed grains. Dont see anything wrong with this so far.
Taste is decent, but I think it should be a little hoppier for a pils, this one is more helles lager with its sweet, grainy malt at the forefront. Decent hop bitterness on it, but it still seems to finish a bit on the sweet side. Light yeast presence is a bit distracting, but overall not a bad brew at all. I could drink this no problem...I bought a single and hadnt seen this all summer long - I will look to buy a sixer next year.

Poured into a stange glass. A nice summer treat!
A-straw yellow. A light fluffy 1 finger head that dissipated quickly. It left traces of lace, but not much to speak on.
S-Grains and some malt. Perhaps there were some bits of lemon.
T-Quite grainy almost tasted like adjunct corn. The initial sip was bitter from the hops, and a little malty. The aftertaste was dry and a bit spicy. I have tasted better Czech style pils.
M-Light and crisp. I definitely thought it was thirst quenching and light. I enjoyed this aspect of it. It had higher carbonation which made it a good summer brew.
Overall, not bad, not good. Just a nice beer to have when there is nothing else to buy.

First beer rating after new rating system. Reviewed May 31, 2013. 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A: Goldenrod yellow. 1 finger creamy head with great lacing. Cloudy with rising carbonation.
S: Very minor hops with light malts.
T: Hops take on a nice grass-like quality. Minor hoppy bitterness.
M: Smooth & creamy . Acidic in mouth, but light carbonation.
O: For a summertime drink this was delicious & hits the spot. Great picnic choice.

This beer has a brilliant straw color and a head worthy of being photographed
The aroma is a bit sweeter than most beers, but it's full and happy. Very clean
It tastes zesty, and sweet, but has a balanced lemon undertone
The mouthfeel has a good viscosity, but lacks a blossom
Overall, this is an interesting summer beer and an easy drink

Beer #43 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.
The nose on this one struck me as I was pouring it. Has this overly tangy thing going on. Unfortunately, that is showing quite a bit on the flavor profile as well. There are also the standard czech pilsener characteristics that you expect for the style, but meshed up with that tangy, which kind of kills the experience a bit too much. It's a drinkable beer, yes. But it doesn't quite work per style.

This is my first beer review in... forever. I must apologize to all three and a half of my fans. Anyway...
It may be getting a bit cooler here in Texas, and by "cooler" I mean it's not 105 anymore, but I still like to enjoy a light and refreshing beer. A look through my fridge revealed Wasatch Sumerbräu Lager. Color is a clear yellow with a thin and frothy white head. There's some decent lacing.
Smells like sweet grass, light barley, and slightly like toasted bread. Lemon zest and cereal grain.
Clean, tasty beer. Lemon zest and a bit of hop bitterness greet the tongue at the start with a hint of sugary sweet grassiness and toasty cereal grains come in later. Not complex but it doesn't need to be.
This is exceptionally easy to drink with medium carbonation and a light body. Clean mouthfeel and a tad dry at the end.
This is how a lager, or a Czech pilsner as BA labels it, should be. It's simple, tasty, not overbearing, clean, easy to drink, and refreshing. A solid offering.
