Poured from a bottle into a oversized wine glass.
Look - dark amber in color, clear, with about half a finger's worth of khaki-colored foam that dissipates somewhat quickly.
Smell - definitely a hoppy aroma, as one would expect. Not too much of a bite though. A hint of something sweet to balance it out, maybe caramel or brown sugars?
Taste - pretty good and strong hop taste, but not a whole lot of bite. The bitterness that's there comes in around the middle. Interesting and strong hop taste in the finish and aftertaste though.
Mouthfeel - pretty well-balanced, not leaning more or less toward the creamy or watery sides.
Overall - very good tasting brew, and decently interesting to think about.

Not a bad beer and is palatable but not to my personal liking. It has a very thick syrupy feel in the mouth. Smell(in a can) was too sweet for me. Taste was not hoppy enough for a double ipa. And lacks bitterness which I like. I would not write it off as a bad beer but I feel it does not live up to traditional double ipa standards. I'll have to try it in a glass to see how it taste on draft.
