This is a very good, very balanced DIPA. Appearance is nice - it looks like a pleasant enough beer. It also smells nice. Not like a new whip or pair of handcuffs, but like a really great alcoholic beverage. (Which is what it is after all is said and done.) It tastes quite hoppy and also malty simultaneously. The 9 percent ABV is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is close (almost too close) to a beer-like consistency. And the drinkability is only limited to how early you want to go to bed. Highly recommended. Buy it, enjoy it, and don't forget to turn off the TV.

Not a bad beer and is palatable but not to my personal liking. It has a very thick syrupy feel in the mouth. Smell(in a can) was too sweet for me. Taste was not hoppy enough for a double ipa. And lacks bitterness which I like. I would not write it off as a bad beer but I feel it does not live up to traditional double ipa standards. I'll have to try it in a glass to see how it taste on draft.
