The last beer for the night is Hop Rising....and man is this a big ole beer. The copper clear color is quite nice with good great white head. The nose is bolstered by fresh hops. The taste is big....ABV is apparent for an instant before th hops take over. This beer has good body. The mouthfeel is just to much for this guy to enjoy. This is a sipping beer and I could never session....just not smooth enough. Definitely worth a try for all you hop heads.

Not a bad beer and is palatable but not to my personal liking. It has a very thick syrupy feel in the mouth. Smell(in a can) was too sweet for me. Taste was not hoppy enough for a double ipa. And lacks bitterness which I like. I would not write it off as a bad beer but I feel it does not live up to traditional double ipa standards. I'll have to try it in a glass to see how it taste on draft.
