A-Clear amber, not much carbonation, one finger head that leaves some lacing.
S-Bread, some grass, not much citrus, tad bit of alcohol.
T-Some citrus, good deal of malt and bread. Slight caramel. Not much in the way of bitterness.
M-Medium bodied, some carbonation, tad velvety.
O-A run of the mill DIPA. Does overwhelm with bitterness or hops.

Thanks to a tuba player named Dan for this one!
A double IPA not from CA? My bias already sets in. Beer poured gently into a pint glass. Head is bone white, dissipating into a halo circling the inside of the glass. The color is an orangish amber, very clean. Smell is somewhat lackluster. It does remind me of hopslam minus the honey sweet. No immediate dry hop dank smell like the IPA's I'm usually craving. It's def not bad, just not impressive. There's a mixture of malt, alcohol and a light bitterness as I gulp it down. Def more malt fwd vs a west coast DIPA. It's pretty much what I expect, which isn't bad...I'm just an entitled beer need whose been spoiled by the wild Wild West. Cheers!

underwhelming ipa here, but for a 9% double ipa with beautiful graphics in a 6 pack under 10 bucks, it rules the roll. the beer itself is a little sweet for me, not super hoppy, overly alcoholic, and a little rich in corn sugar, it may be a bit too much. mostly clear golden color under a patchy but lasting white airy head. the nose is sweet with all the hops, but it doesn't seem like its from grain. i get a whole lot more dextrose or something similar than i do malt. the hops in smell and taste are not forward enough for the style, and there is very little bitterness. the price is alluring for what it is, but the flavor makes me not a repeat buyer. the feel is fine, save the residual sugar. enough bubbles and body, but the hops just aren't there all the way through. decent, but i know squatters can do better.
