This beer pours a cloudy pale peach colour, with two fingers of foamy, pillowy off-white head, which settles evenly, leaving a perfect circumference of pulled curtain lace around the glass. Quite attractive. It smells of bitter grapefruit, tangy orange, and caramel cream. The taste is grainy, slightly spicy malt, a softer citrus flavour, and a bit of alcohol warming. The carbonation is prominent, but not intrusive, the body medium-light in weight, a bit prickly but still fairly smooth overall. It finishes still sweet, with the spicy citrus hops clamouring, and getting some attention too.
Wow. Maybe it's because I haven't had a proper IPA in some time now, but this really hit the spot, and went down way too well for its 7 points of booze. And I now know how to say 'rye' in Danish!

Not a bad beer and is palatable but not to my personal liking. It has a very thick syrupy feel in the mouth. Smell(in a can) was too sweet for me. Taste was not hoppy enough for a double ipa. And lacks bitterness which I like. I would not write it off as a bad beer but I feel it does not live up to traditional double ipa standards. I'll have to try it in a glass to see how it taste on draft.
