12 oz. bottle poured into a Half Acre glass. Thanks to iasanlee (Jason) for this one.
A: Glowing orange colored body w/ a nice tight small white bubbly head.
S: Nice aroma of Grapefruit and Citrus bouquet, very easy on the nose. Not overpowering w/ hop florals, I would like a little more in this area.
T: Nicely done, very balanced IIPA. It doesn't knock your socks off w/ tongue buckling hop flavor, which I kind of like for a change of pace. Very dry finish.
M: Full, very chewy and sticky....All of the qualities I look for in this style.
D: Extremely drinkable..wish I had another but at 9%, it may sneak up on you after 3 or 4.
Overall this is a very nice example of a DIPA from a brewery I had never heard of before, I would like to try again in the future. Recommended if you get the chance. Thanks again, Jason!!
