Wasatch Little Slammers Golden Ale has a very thin, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, some tight bubble streams, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet & sour sauce and white bread. Taste is of white bread, white bread crust, cellar mold, figs, dates, and virtually no bitter notes. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Wasatch Little Slammers Golden Ale finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and drinkable.

Attractive golden amber in the tall glass with a fine-grained white foam. Beery aroma with a malty nose. Really nice carbonation, which is just what you want in a slammer.

Quite a malty mouthful-- it doesn't really taste light. It feels like it must be even bigger and stronger than it really is. Slightly sweet but somehow balanced with just a shade of hoppiness. Not really bitter either. A surprising pleasure that transcends the Blonde category, the home of so much brewing mediocrity. Add a few more percent alcohol and this would be the best malt liquor in the world. I was only sorry there were just a couple of gulps in the little bottle. This one is worth savoring.

From the 7 oz screw-cap bottle bought at Utah Brewers Cooperative brewery store in Salt Lake.

A thank you goes out to cpolking for this beer. Poured from a brown 7 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sweet, floral, some malts. Taste is light, some malts, a bit of floral hops, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Poured from a little 7 ounce bottle. This is labeled Little Slammers Golden Ale.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of grass from the hops, as well as some bread from the malt and some perfume-like floral notes. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of bread and grain with some perfume and flowers. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Fairly basic and it doesn't all fit together real well. Not one of the better beers from Wasatch. Nothing to seek out.

7oz bottle that reads 'Little Slammers', 'Golden Ale' and '5.2% abv'. Poured into a Snake River pint glass.

A: Pours a pale golden yellow with the slightest bit of haze and a soft white head that doesn't do a bad job of sticking around.

S: Very grainy, with a bit of malty sweetness and even some toasted grain smells in the back. There are aromas of green apples, white grapes, and touches of lemon as well.

T: Tastes like a lager and follows the nose; grains and bits of malt sweetness, and some apple skin/grape skin flavors.

MF: Pretty crisp and clean, with a smooth taste, light mouthfeel, good carbonation and a lightly skunky finish. Light dryness.

O: Not bad, a relatively enjoyable light beer in a unique format.
