33cl bottle. Pours a hazy, dirty, pale orange with a very tall white head with good retention. Smells like grapefruit, lemon zest, wine barrel, honey and salt. Super bitter punch right from the start, with notes of citrus hops and a bit of saison funkiness. Medium body and carbonation, bitter and salty aftertaste.

Got this one at the Duvel guy down the road from the old place.

From a bottle into a snifter
Best before February 2017

This is a collaboration brew but is somehow their own version of HotD's Blue Dot IPA.

APPEARANCE: Pours a one finger, medium looking white head with good retention. Cloudy amber orange in color with no carbonation evident. Head fades to a faint wisp and clings to the sides of the glass. A faint wisp remains until the end leaving touches of lacing down the glass.

SMELL: Kind of a funky nose. Farmhouse-like for sure. Honeydew melon, hay, some barn character and a good dose of cantaloupe on the nose. Definitely different than what was expected.

TASTE: Definite farmhouse stuff up front, with hay and barnyard character starting things off. Some melon notes and honeydew in there as well. More funk at the swallow with a bold and lingering finish of farmhouse character and funk, some cantaloupe, honeydew melon and plenty of hop bitterness.

PALATE: Medium body and medium levels of carbonation. Creamy on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes rather dry.

OVERALL: Well made for sure, but certainly not what I was expecting. I'm assuming this was indeed their intention, but it's not really my style of IPA and I was rather disappointed I didn't get something truer to the HotD variant of this. Either way, worth checking out if you're a fan of this style of IPA, but not something I'd race to revisit myself.
