Lumpy loose off-white head over a bright cherry amber body.
Muted nose of brown toast, clean metallic grain, and orange blossom.
Dried apricot, toffee, and crispbread then slight Clementine hops.
Smoke almond finish and toasty, tingly linger. Medium-light, fizzy, slight chew, smooth.

Wouldn’t call this a brown in spite of all the Chocolate – too pale and not enough dark malts – unless this is a Northern English brown with US hops (Chinook and Centennial in this case.) Not quite an APA, either: there is the odd toasty note to make this deeper than an amber. Too fizzy and hops are too quiet, but it makes more sense in the 2nd half of the glass. Balanced if tame, pleasant, all the melanoidins save the day.

330ml bottle. ½ Pint Tumbler glass. Review at home on jul´12 -after being enjoyed on-tap both at Mediona Fair 2012 & Poblenou Fair 2012. Brownish amber color. Foggy appearance. Off-white, close & lasting head. Moderate toasted malts, herbal hues, citric touch, raw barley grains & hints of chocolate to the nose.Gentle & refreshing mildy toasted maltiness at first sip followed by herbal –tea-like – hoppiness. Palate is funny while leaving such an smooth sensation. Medium to light body. Moderate carbonation. Oily to watery texture rounded by subtle chocolate in the middle to provide brief bitter finish. Very well balanced beer with an easy drinkability. Refreshing from the early beginning to the end.
