Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
Large solid forming off white three finger head when poured, with a big retention cap not going anywhere. Body is a bit cloudy and unfiltered with a nice orange amber to dirty brown color. Some minor floaties but not too chunky.
Great hop noes on this, of soft orange and wonderful herbal floral like aromatics. Creamy sensing caramel malts, and maybe some like pine action to match. Very nice, the first inhale is particularly memorable.
First sip brings a standard bitter mellow pine common hop blast, quickly sharp in the mid palate. Fruity and herbal finish with a light dryness. Solid mouthfeel with just enough coating, but not quite large and filling and quite low to moderate carbonation. Hop angle sensed from the nose seems to hint of a larger fuller and tastier beer than the palate seems to give.
Overall though for an IPA this one is a good one to know about.

12 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a puffy layer. It is a hazy pale orange color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Citrus, floral, herbal tea, grassy, pungent, toasted, and pale malts.
Taste: Nice citrus and tea hop flavor, tingly bitterness, pale, and bready malts.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, refreshing, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, and a little bitterness.
Overall: A nice take on an EIPA with an American twist. I'll definitely revisit this one again.
