This is a big brown being offer by Solemn Oath. The beer poured a clear brownish amber with white head. The scent had a maple base with fresh hops that leaned toward pine. The taste was a good mixed between bread and pine needles. The mouthfeel was full in body with ok carbonation. Overall this is good and I would try it again. Proabably could be classified as an India Brown Ale.

The beer looked fine and appeared to smell like a typical brown ale. The taste was definitely off. I've my share of many brown ales and this tasted like something could have been wrong but wasn't sure. Think for a brown as well. I wouldn't recommend but would try it in bottle or on tap again to compare.

Served in standard shakers pint glass. Dark brown in color. Sort of clear. Served with about a quarter inch of creamy yellowy head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is .... Stinky. Chocolate? Stewed vegetables? What is that? Maybe a woodsy earthy note. I don't know. It not overly pleasant though. Taste is slightly better. Cheap watered down chocolate notes. Brown malts. Toast. Brown bread. Somewhat earthy and dirty tasting. Medium bodied. Medium bitterness. Medium carbonation.
Not sure about this beer, but I sure the hell wouldn't order it again.
