The Oubliette is a solid Begium style pale ale that poured a golden clear with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent carried citrus and that belgian wiff. The taste was a light crisp pale ale with spicey orange peel. The mouthfeel was light in body with good carbonation. Overall, a decent beer.

Served in a tulip glass at Farmhouse Tavern.
Gotta keep trying out these new locals, I thinks to myself. Luckily, here's another for me sample... It pours a clear golden brass topped by over a finger of light cream-white foam. The nose comprises wheat, grass, light lemon zest, light coriander, and light banana. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some rye-like spice (almost clove-ish) and some black pepper. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry-ish finish. Overall, a pretty solid BPA, fairly enjoyable, but nothing really close to special. I'd take another, definitely.
